About IPAC

The Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) is a leading Canadian organization concerned with the theory and practice of public management. Its scope covers governance from the global to the local level. It is an association with 22 regional groups across the country providing networks and forums both nationally and regionally.

Formed in 1947, IPAC is a private non-profit organization. It enables public servants from all spheres of government; University and College teachers, staff and students to exchange ideas on trends, practices and innovations in public administration.

To serve public administrators, IPAC publications to members, promote and rewards excellence in public administration - IPAC helps foster learning and has an annual professional conference, and also supports research and provides guidance on ethical issues.
